The majority of the education staff, including staff who work in the community, are based at the CAMHS Campus School. A small number of education staff are based at St George’s Hospital. However, all staff are deployed to work flexibly across the whole service, according to need. The teaching staffing complement is comprised of 14 specialist trained primary and secondary teachers, 3 of whom are qualified Teachers of the Deaf and 7 highly qualified support staff. The staff hold multiple areas of expertise and can cover a wide range of subjects. They are a highly skilled, positive and dynamic team who have high expectations of their students while maintaining a great sense of fun in their teaching.
The Service does not employ sessional teachers, all members of staff are employed with regular contracted hours each week, and deployment varies according to specialist requirements across each site or classroom.
